Success, however you choose to define it, is not reserved exclusively for others. Rather, progress belongs to those who combine pragmatic vision and deep desire with intelligent laser-like focus and hard work. You are just as capable of improving your life and as deserving of harvesting the fruits of your efforts as anyone.
It is rarely an easy road, but it is very much a worthwhile one. You do not need to wait for anyone’s permission or for someone else to lead or show the way or the ‘right’ opportunity; YOU can be the one to lead the way. You are the CEO of your life; I mean if not, who else?
Waiting for the perfect moment is a formula for deferring your dreams and for paralysis by analysis. I’m pushing you to action… and at the same time I urge you to have a well thought out plan with fallbacks and backups… dream, believe in yourself… AND be prepared to work both smart and hard, very hard! As Jim Carrey said, “You can’t just visualize and then go eat a sandwich.”
